We are a volunteer led Hull & East Riding charity that has the voice of older people at the core of everything we do.
Since 2014 we have established a valued and trusted cross sector partnership platform with organisations that have a common purpose to improve the wellbeing and outcomes of local older people.
The partnership also engages with people, professionals and services to find opportunities for sharing best practice and joint working across the partnership and promoting the local services that support older people through city wide and locality based events.
Get to know us
Like all great things, we started out as a small group of different organisations. It took a few like-minds to run with a shared vision to improve the wellbeing of older people in Hull through collaboration and partnership working across services.
Today, we’ve grown into charitable incorporated organisation that serves the Hull & East Riding.
Our board members come from a diverse range of careers/professions and backgrounds. We’re a family of volunteer directors who are like-minded people, using our passion and our skills to lead the charity in making an impactable difference.
Our board meets up to 9 times a year to develop a sustainable charity ready for 2020 and beyond.
We have a simple mission statement with 4 guiding principles keeping people at the core, whilst embracing opportunities and advances to become more effective during growth to ensure that people and partners are always in our line of sight.
Our values are built on those established at the start of our journey in 2014.
Behind every successful event or project that we have delivered, is our dedicated board members who work tirelessly to obtain grants, sponsorship's and funding each year to ensure we continue to provide innovative health and wellbeing projects and hold bolder, bigger and better free events for older people, their carers and the public.
By becoming a charity we are able to fundraise and receive donations. We need the support of people and organisations to help us hold fundraising events and identify opportunities for collecting donations

We've created this site dedicated to our Strategic Plan so that we could consult, communicate, engage and and act on feedback at every stage with our stakeholders; older people, carers, organisations, member partners, previous funders and anyone else who is interested in our plans, priorities and success measures over the next 3 years.
We will update the information on a regular basis, but we will also be producing a seasonal charity newsletter that focuses our chairty's development and good news stories from across the partnership.
